Together they analyse Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, the movie that gave us the famous diamond-related adage, and discuss the careers of Anita Loos, the author of the original novel on which the film is based, and of Marilyn Monroe herself.

Carol investigates the jewellery collection of the Tudors and how they were represented in portraiture of the time. She is joined by two experts on the subject: Dr Charlotte Bolland, senior curator of 16th century collections and research at the National Portrait Gallery, and author and historian Dr Nicola Tallis.

CHATSWORTH HOUSE - THE ENDURING AND LIVING COLLECTION

Following a visit to Chatsworth House, the stately home of the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire, Carol talks to Sash Giles, curator of decorative arts, about Chatsworth's extraordinary collection. Also Carol will talk to artist Tarka Kings about the jewellery she has created for the new Chatsworth exhibition Living With Art We Love, which runs until October 2022.
